What a gorgeous bird! I had to look at your tag to see what kind of bird it was - although the wings should have given me a clue! I am hopelessly inept at identifying birds. Thanks for linking up this week - you always provide great shots!

So how do you get so many close ups of birds? Do you have a blind you hide in? The second I'm anywhere near a bird, it flies away and I end up with an unfocused picture of a tree or the sky. This is yet another amazing post!

Gorgeous color on that swallow. He is posing perfectly for you! I saw my first swallow in Portland, OR last year and fell in love with them.

Nice colors! So blue. Those little guys are so quick and hard to catch with a camera.

A Project Runway bird--such a dazzling color and your shot shows off that amazing plumage to best effect.

So excited because Chet the pup and I found what I think may be a hawk feather--4-5 in. long cream/brown--on our walk in the park. Will have to do some detective work on google.

WOW! Brian, this little swallow is gorgeous. He's so similar to our Welcome Swallow, but white and blue instead of brown & blue. The blue is stunning isn't it??!!

Just stunning! Love this beautiful bird and your photos of it.

OK, I have a problem. Whenever I click on someone's comment and get the "Circles" page, I generally cannot make a comment because it will tell me that the person I clicked on has not left me a message, so I can't leave them one. I just clicked on your comment on one of my posts, and got a Circles page, but couldn't figure out how to leave a comment on your wonderful photo of the great blue heron there. You had also posted photos by others. I just don't understand the whole Circles set-up. I was not able to use the connection I used to have for you on my sidebar because it still goes to Hey BJK which no longer exists, and I plan to change it to Brian King Images which is where I am now.....I just don't "get" Circles.
