really nice! love the silvery ripples.

i was able to see my very first american coots in december. when i had visitors here, we stopped at a local lake and i saw these odd birds for the first time. now, to see them up close and on land... :)

Love it! Even without seeing the white beaks, I just knew these were American Coots! I saw them yesterday at our lake and they are quite fast swimmers. Congrats on a beautiful photo!

Brian...Buddy and I went out shopping for new feeders and new and different food for them in an attempt to attract some different species. I kept thinking we need you alone to advise us. even got us a new replacement bird bath. I am sososso excited. Cannot wait to see who comes in for a visit so I can start learning about more birds. Before I die I really do want to add "birder" to my list of accomplishments. Tis picture of the ducks with they sharp shadows on the ripply waters is beautiful. Happy New Year. genie
