I swear, either you have a magic potion that makes clips bird wings or you have one of those massive lenses. How do you get such amazing close ups. I'll post my most impressive Blue Heron shot tomorrow. You will see the root of my jealousy. lol
Each year towards fall, I examine one of the plastic herons at Mill’s Fleet Farm. These are confidence decoys for ducks that sell for $19. I never buy one though. I am thinking about making one. Anyone know how long the herons hang around the Upper Midwest in the fall before disappearing?
I'm not sure I would call it a "Bad Hair Day" as it is only one hair (feather), but it is certainly noteworthy. The picture, as always is superb. Hope to be back next week with a bird you and I have talked abour:)
