The Heron is magnificent, and I do like the last photo with perfect reflection. Who would think that bird had such fine feathers at the top of his/her head, great detail I so enjoy looking at. Cheers, Jean.

Fantastic again Brian, love the capture of the walk across the log, last picture looks like he is sulking or cold, LOL. Great detail on the feathers.

A blue heron caught almost doing the splits! How many shots did you have to take to capture these few perfect moments? Your patience shows in your work, Brian--and we all love the results.

Magnificent! What light you got on those pictures! I never find it easy to get good pictures on the herons, because they always fly away!

Brian this is an absolutely superb series -- every picture is perfect on its own, but together they are fantastic....he's beautiful -- and the photographer is incredibly talented. Thank you!!!

Brian, your work is so magnificent! These are amazing shots. I am enjoying the work of other photographers that you are posting as well. It makes me want a new camera so badly!!!! We are headed to the Grand Canyon in a couple of weeks, and I plan to take my little digital that I always use, but I want to take a film camera too, an FM-2 Nikon I used to like to use. I am hoping to get some great shots! We got only so-so pictures when we were there years ago. There just isn't any excuse for that! :-)
