These are some of the many photos I took a few months ago, but simply didn't have time to post. As you can tell by the leaf buds, these are from late winter/early spring. I like to try to stay current with my photos, but sometimes it's just impossible to get them all in before seasons change.

I just love that puffed up Mourning Dove Brian. Thank you for posting your technical details - is that auto ISO?
A great series of photos - the gold finch is especially beautiful.
i enjoyed the b/w photo
Beautiful! Nice to have that left overs :-)
Great series!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Your Mourning Dove looks very gray ... ours are tan in color. Interesting that they would be so different ... But beautiufl, especially on the gray fence. The others are beautiful shots as well ... who could not love the Gold Finch or the Downey ... but the song of the Song Sparrow is what makes him stand out ... I can almost hear it while looking at him. Have a great week, Brian :)

Beautiful leftovers. I have way too many photos I would like to show. It's always difficult to choose only a few.
Thats some set of left overs! These would be front and centre on my blog.
Thanks for the link to WBW.

HI Brain I wish my 'leftovers' were like yours!! I love the black and white 1st shot adn the yellow in the Goldfich is stunning. Margaret
each superb birds and photographs; the dove though is such a placid bird type I've found; it's an adorable photograph
Your photos are just stunning. I wish my left overs were half as good. The grey dove is simply beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your "left-overs" as they were worth viewing.
Loved that fat or fluffy morning dove and of course the Gold Finch since that is WA state's official bird.
More amazing work. You are a bird whisperer!
Wonderful shots! Glad you finally were able to get to them. Love that fluffy mourning dove!
Sometimes leftovers are better than the new. All great shots.
I love that monochrome Mourning Dove! You have found some very nice images in your computer's "attic."
The offset of focus/blur is very interesting. enJOYed
Your leftovrs are wonderful!
Still here but can't comment from the computer that I most often use. I love the black and white of the mourning dove and am reading all your posts!! Hope you haven't been flooded out in your neck of the woods!
Cool shots, Brian... the 1st birdie looks to have had its share of 'leftovers'! heheheee =)
Happy Independence Day!
All are great shots, but I love that fluffy dove!
Superb quality images!
Thank you for sharing.
Hope your Independence Day weekend is going well!
Beautiful shots! Especially love the puffed-up dove. :)
I know what you mean. I have been slowly going through my images and deleting many and I found a couple of folders the other day that said...use later...that was 2 years ago and I still missed the Spring season to use them for now...deep sigh! The birds are all very delightful! Happy week brian~
Love that shot of the morning dove!!!
What a gorgeous series of images, Brian!
I'm interested in your settings too... I'm still hesitant to shoot above ISO 400 with the 7D. I seem to get a bit of noise... I'm wondering if it's the fact I'm still using the 55-250mm kit lens that came with my 1100D??
