Breathtaking greenery & blue sky.
Gorgeous ! Is that in Ky?
That hill would be some rugged climbing. Count me out. :)
Rugged and rocky, but oh so beautiful!
I used this trick recently in one of my own shoots. I took a photo of our house, and usually people go into landscape mode for that, but the vertical composition removed a lot of unwanted objects and the image was better.

Beautiful location! I find myself so drawn to vertical framing that I have to make an effort to go horizontal. I think things look so beautiful portrait-style!
beautiful, what a view and a great tip! i often just hold the camera in "natural/comfortable position!!
just gorgeous!
i'm always a bit gleeful when you give a tip that i sometimes do right. just recently, i've taken some sky shots (yeah, yeah, with my cell phone, but still...)and i chose to shoot a few in portrait mode. really liked the result and have even used a few as my screensaver (yeah, yeah, on my cell phone, but still...) :P
Nice shot! I've always had a hard time holding my camera sideways. I suppose that's what tri-pods are for.
Gorgeous scene Brian. I hardly ever use vertical...will have to start. Thanks for the reminder!
What a beautiful place. Where is this? - I often forget about taking vertical photos so this was a good tip.
Looks a lovely place. I also havve a vertical image today on my post! check it out.
