Gorgeous colors. Love the wing feathers. You were missing when I started using Feedly, but after I unsubscribed and then subscribed again, there you were!
Your photography is amazing. I have been having a very enjoyable morning, sitting here with my coffee and going through your posts. I especially like the April 4th post, "Why So Angry" the color is brilliant :) I am your newest follower and I would like to invite you over to follow me back. Have a lovely day and keep your camera handy. Like you need a reminder, right :) Your newest blogging sister, Connie :)
Once again Brian...your photo is truly a work of art!!! Now, tell me, what is your secret for photographing such great images? Do you feed your birds peanut butter or something? [kidding of course]....but seriously you never cease to amaze me with your talents behind the viewfinder!!!
Streeetch ... you are an early morning birder and you caught this little guy still sleepy eyed, but as always, beautiful. Great shot, Brian (and why doesn't that surprise me:)
Great image and superb quality! I like the idea of a "non-standard" portrait. Many of our winter Goldfinches have departed north. Thank you for sharing yours!

Nice capture Brian!
A truly artistic and beautiful perspective of the Goldfinch.
What a dramatic contrast between the wing color and that soft yellow body. I can about hear the whirring clicks of those wings if I close my eyes! :-)
Fabulous detail Brian!

oh I totally love the colourings of this bird; I've never heard of it before. It reminds me of one of our Golden Whistlers
