This is a break from my normal subjects, but I enjoy shooting something different from time to time. It helps keep things interesting. This is just one of our many churches in the area and I shot it for the new meme...
fabulous photograph and it kind of surprises me that it didn't need to be a long exposure - I just thought 'night' --long exposure? It must be that there's plenty of light on the spire that didn't need it?
What a great play on light and shadow, Brian. Love the way you chose to highlight the tower and steeple, but still we can clearly see the spire against the sky and the roofline of the church. Now you have me trying to figure out which one! On U.K. campus?

Beautiful, was the lighting from nearby, from the steeple, or did you do it with PP ?Greetings, Jean.
Love that night inspired, Brian!

This is so striking. I love it. Yay for a new meme! It is a good idea to shoot something different from time to time to keep it fresh.
