The rose is beautiful!! Interesting how the different settings affected the color of the bloom. I think the 1/640 shutter speed probably captured its true red the best. Thank you for putting the settings below your shots. :)
roses if you can bear to cut them are delightful to have indoors; somewhere that you frequent a lot to enjoy them all hours of the day. If they have a perfume, that's an added bonus to their beauty
Those are really pretty Brian! I have some Knock Out Roses blooming for the first time and saw that I had already gotten a bit of fungus growing and got that nipped and so they are now looking lovely as well~

That last shot looks like it has a creepy crawly on it.

so pretty brian, they look like knock outs!! mine are gorgeous this year!!
Roses are the best photography subjects, especially when you catch them early in the morning. They are such posers.

A very beautiful rose. I love roses and red is always a good choice.
So bright and beautiful. I bet they are very enjoyable.
I like the flower.
Really pretty roses, Brian!
Those are gorgeous! Our roses haven't even thought about blooming yet in spite of the heat. Hey, did you get a new hat? I like it!
Luminous color and a good reminder of how to make a photo more interesting by varying the focal point.
Stunning red roses! Wow!
How lovely!
