Sleepy Hollow Dove

This dove was preening its back feathers giving it the appearance of being headless. I just thought it was too cool! Plus, it gives new meaning to minimalism.

Today's Tip:
For birds in flight, set your camera to a continuous auto focus mode if so equipped. On Canon it's called AI Servo and I believe Nikon calls it Dynamic Area AF. These modes allow your auto focus system to keep up with the changes in distance from camera to subject.
