While not as glamorous as in the spring when they're strutting their stuff, fall turkeys are still fun to watch as they move about searching for food. I don't generally turkey hunt in the fall because I'm too busy with deer season, but we always see a lot of them from our stands. In fact, if we want to see turkeys, we just go deer hunting - it works every time.

too funny. are these from your deer stand? they're still really pretty.
The very first time I went deer hunting I saw 17 turkeys and..0 deer.
Smart birds, and fun to watch.
GREAT shots. I know what you mean about going deer hunting to see turkeys....I have the same problem ;)
Haha! Love it. These are great...and I never thought I would say this- but those guys are really very pretty:)
Looks exactly like my evil tom turkey. What are you feedin' these guys up there, Brian? They are huge. :)
Yup, that's about all I've been seeing this deer season so far :(
