The start of my walk |
The sun shining through the canopy |
A reminder of the brevity of our existence |
I like how the lines on this tree naturally draw your eye to the center |
I just liked this for some reason |
A little color |
Continuing my walk |
An old handmade stone wall |
Meadow grass |
Lots of texture on this tree |
Not many wild flowers like this still around now |
This dead tree was standing by itself - I thought it was cool |
Some more color - very few of these still out |
I didn't even see the water on this flower until I downloaded the photos |
Some kind of giant mushrooms |
There were still a few of these around |
Yellow on yellow |
To be continued...

these are great! hard to pick a favorite, although the leaf macro is stunning, and yellow-on-yellow is impressive. meadow grasses pull my heart, though. really nice. looking forward to the next post! :)
Wow. You were on a hunt here! (And I like what you caught:)
A wonderful walk Brian.
Wow -- look at you and your gorgeous photos. These are excellent, Brian. Can't wait to see part 2. :)
Loved the dead tree and the tombstone.
Just some ol' guy dropping by to say hello and too comment on what a beautiful set of pictures you put together on your walk. By the way, gotta' love those Tilley Hats!
Nice shots Brian. It's great to just take a walk and notice all of the interesting things around you.
Great photos, Brian! Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.
I took 184 shots during my walk and had a good time just slowing down and looking for things of interest. I appreciate the comments!
