oh yes, a little alarming for sure but definately looks like one healthy bird; glad it is, and flying high with a partner too, excellent. Excellent photography as well capturing them in flight like that.
Animals are much more adaptable than we are, I think. And they don't complain. Two things we could learn. He looks none the worse for it. More power to him.

I wonder if it was born that way or was injured by something or possibly someone. With its lower bill longer it can scoop-up its food.
