Those ducks are so beautiful and the colors so striking, they almost look artificial! Perfect detail in the photos - I love these ducks! Hope the transition of the blog goes okay...I will find you, at any rate!

IMHO the most colorful duck out there. I'd love to find some to shoot (photograph that is) but haven't so far. Still on my bucket list. I really like that last shot but the one that caught my eye was the female showing HER colors!

Great shots of the beautiful ducks.

So jealous of your being where those long-haired colorful birds live. Excellent shots. Love them all but my favorite is that first one with the mossy branch.

Magnificent photos, Brian! My favorites are the first 2 where he's sitting on the lichen covered branch and his reflection in the water.
Good luck with the changes.

My favorite duck and you captured them so beautifully! My favorites are the solo shots perched on the tree branch. The depth of field is perfection. :)

Good luck with the new blog. I like the name. Hope the transition goes smoothly.

What a sweet photo of this little bird on the fence. Also, your wood duck photos are beautiful. A couple of them almost don't look real. I'll be looking for your new blogpage. Happy July 4th! Pamela

How do you get so close? I know you have a great zoom lens, but you must be stealthy! These are amazing.

Congrats on your new blog title -- perhaps we'll see some new "images" from you? :)

Nice shots. The females look very similar to the female Mandarin duck.

Great photos. They are such colorful ducks - and quite different from what are called "Wood Ducks" here in Australia.

Nice one Brian, they are very similar to the Mandarin Duck (Another collection species here in the UK), still a very colourful species that I always enjoy seeing

I didn't realize they perched in trees....or are the ones on the 'branch'...a fallen tree in the pond?

None the less....fabulous, brilliant images!!!

I've never seen wood ducks marked like some of these and some of the colors are unusual. Of course I haven't gotten to enJOY ducks up close until now. Super job, as usual.

They have such lovely markings, Brian! And your photos are as wonderful as always...like the clarity of the colors, and the reflections!

Great capture, Brian! Wood Ducks are so beautifull, the male in a glamorous way, but the female, more subtle, rewards a closer look.

Awesome shots of the Wood Ducks Brian! For me the female is the most beautiful. That fourth photo of the female alone with the green water reflection as the backdrop is gorgeous.

Your wood Ducks are so beautiful, Brain! The colours & patterns on the male are gorgeous. And the female is really beautiful too. I love the splash of blue on her wings. An incredible set of images here.
