Caught

1/1250 sec. f/8 ISO 1600

Great Blue Heron
Linking to Wild Bird Wednesday

What I found interesting about this shot are the reflections. There's the direct reflection of the heron and then below that is a second reflection with two eyes.

Oh my GOODNESS! Brian, you always exceed my expectations with your photos..This is an incredible shot of the Heron with his catch. And the reflections are wonderful. Water does such magical things when it comes to that.

Excellent catch! Both you and him!! lol Isn't it wonderful to get them in action like this? Doesn't happen often for me, but when it does I am over the moon. :)

Gail had the same thoughts I did about the 'catch'. :)
My friend you are always in the right place at the right time.
I have to try to wrap my mind around how the reflection happened. Pretty cool though.
Great shot as always Brian!

Terrific photograph, Brian! But I'm always jealous the Herons and Egrets are much better at fishing than I am.....
