Fall Flight

Takeoff And Landing

Plenty of lift!

Oh, yeah! I got this!

Wait. Why is the water getting closer?

Uh, oh!

Well, this is embarrassing!

Meanwhile....

Maverick, you're at 3/4 of a mile. Call the ball.

Roger, Maverick has the ball.

You're too low! Pull up! Pull up!

Really? I'd like to see you take off!

As usual, Brian, excellent work here. Love wildlife and what they do and how it causes all of us to take a minute and take it all in.

Funny! Your commentary fit the photos perfectly!

Are these locals or are you seeing migration? Just curious. We haven't seen any migratory ducks or geese yet.

Thanks! I'm working on my "in flight" shots and trying to improve them.

Nancy, I think it's a mixed bag on this lake. Some of the geese are migratory, but I believe many of the ducks, at least, are local.
