Wind Blown

This tree stands next to the lake where I take a lot of my heron and waterfowl shots. Whether the wind caused it to lean this way or it has suffered damage in the past, perhaps from ice storms, I don't really know. I like to think of it as wind blown and still standing despite Ma Nature's best attempts to knock it down.

Very cool tree and I love the way you've played with the picture. I can't take my eyes off it!

A wonderful image and I agree it's the winds that have shaped it.

It's a beautiful tree! And it is a stubborn one that hangs on in spite of difficulties along the way. (No wonder, at my age, that I am fond of trees like that ;>)

I'm not a fan of wind...but it sure tosses things around in a beautiful way! Nice capture.
