oh yes, a little alarming for sure but definately looks like one healthy bird; glad it is, and flying high with a partner too, excellent. Excellent photography as well capturing them in flight like that.
I wonder if it was born that way or was injured by something or possibly someone. With its lower bill longer it can scoop-up its food.Beautiful in flight capture, BJL.Have a great weekend.~:)
Poor guy! Those are gorgeous in flight shots, Brian! Great job!
Beautiful! It's not everyday you get a photo opportunity like this one, nice job!
Awesome photo, I guess the poor thing is managing to eat with its bill like that. Great captures!
looks like he's doing just fine...I saw a one legged duck at the pond...didn't slow him down a bit....great photos Brian...
not the kind of nose job one would want. beautiful tandem flight shots, though! that 2nd one especially!
Good to see the Canada has survived, great photos
Nature is so adaptable. This is a fabulous example. :)
Animals are much more adaptable than we are, I think. And they don't complain. Two things we could learn. He looks none the worse for it. More power to him.
Oh yeah, had a girl friend like that once, had a Lil whistle when she talked but did just fine. Lol
Great images Brian you have a sharp eye to spot the damaged bill..
Beautiful shots looks healthy I too wonder if it was born that way.
It still looks pretty healthy even with half a bill.
Tough old Bird...somebody had to say it ;)
