Shoot The Moon(s)

During the last full moon, I was fortunate to get a shot of it during the early evening hours before the sun had even gone down. And, of course, the obligatory after dark shot.

Nice shot of the moon. Those aren't always easy to get. Your shots make me impatient for a full moon but for now a sliver will have to do.

Great photos of the moon and I like the contrast of the two photos.

Lovely shots! I managed, once, to get a good shot of the moon, but not as clear as yours...more as an addition to the scene! Great photos! I love how you can see the detail of the moon!

Beautiful!!!!! I actually think I like the one with the blue sky better...but still, both are absolutely amazing.

Oh, and your snake camera critters?!! Ewwww, I hate snakes. I know, I know, they're good for the Eco-system and all, but I can't help myself. Then, again....magnificent images. I would not have stayed around to photograph them. LOLOLOL

really like it in blue. the detail is deeper in the night, but i'll forego some sharpness for the hue. :)

Great images, Brian. I have managed to capture the full moon a few times with the black sky but never with the daylight. Beautiful.

Oh those are great shots! I have never taken a decent shot of the moon. That's why I am so glad to see photos such as yours. Have a great week!

We had just a sliver last night and I tried so hard to capture it. Yours are wonderful!

Nice work. I've shot the moon a few times myself, especially since I got my Nikor lens. Once I learned the rules it was fun and easy. Our moon is very good at holding still but this month it was shy and hid behind the clouds--just like Venus and Jupiter did the night they were next to each other.

These are wonderful, different moods, but both wonderful.

Fantastic Photos, I love to sit out on the lawn in the summer time and watch a full moon rising over the Sierras, starting with just a glow and then watching how fast it pops up. Makes hot summer nights worthwhile.

Splendid, Brian. You really should post a tutorial -- but I may have mentioned that before. :)
