Yellow Rumps

1/800 sec. f/8 ISO 500

1/1250 sec. f/6.3 ISO 500

I had seen Yellow-rumped Warblers before, but had never photographed them until I got these shots. This spring brought several "firsts" for me.

Yellow-rumps are the kindest and easiest to view warblers in Tucson during our winter months. They pose and play nice with the photographer:) As for the other warblers.....:)

stunning detail, in the last photo, is he calling to another, or waiting for an insect? Love that splash of gold on his feathers,Cheers,Jean

Oh wow your birds you have or taken afar. I have not seen much of any in my home or away at other places.

You and Tex have them all.

Lovely, lovely .

You could make a Geographic Coffee book of birds, flowers. Your photographing are flawless.
