These are gorgeous, Brian. I haven't shot the sky for a long time and your photos are inspiring me to do so!

Thank you for sharing at Rural Thursdays this week. :)

It truly amazes me how talented Mother Nature is and the clever people who can capture her glorious moments. B

BEAUTIFUL skies Brian. I would have to hit contrast to get some of these beautiful skies...and yet, you capture them as they are!

Hey BJ,

WoWoWeee! Great shots! I first thought that you'd gone to Colorado & was taking pics of the smoke in the skies... Is the sunlight shining on the contrail lighting it up like that? That's really neat! Beee-u-tee-ful sunset... sunset or sunrise, whichever! LoL! =)

Beautiful skies indeed. We haven't had any spectacular sunsets her lately. The last photos could be from the hill behind our house. I love trees in front of the horizon shots.

the 2nd and 4th are my faves. love the darkness and contrasting brilliance in the 2nd, and the 'waves' and colors of the 4th. nicely done.

Yes, and this rural girl sits and watches the sky and thinks of those unhappy travelers squished into their seats on that airplane staring at the seat in front of them! Ha! These are amazing Brian!!

Stunning shots! I love the lighted contrails and that next to last shot looks like a fine watercolor painting. Could you sign a copy of that one and send it to me? LOL! I love it!

Amazing sky shots, Brian! Wow! I can't decide which I like the best, but I am thinking maybe the next to the last with the rainbow-colored clouds! They are all wonderful, though.

Thank you for your prayers and well-wishes concerning my surgery. I am doing great! It's good to be back and trying to catch up with everyone. I missed that.
