I am thinking House Finch female, right? They are notorious for their balancing acts and always seem to get out of them fine. We don't think about the fact that they can fly out of most predicaments. Very cute and as always very high quality photo, Brian.

Wow! Incredible shot! The little birds are so sweet, but I have an AWFUL time identifying them! Glad you always visit me, even though I mostly take pictures of my surroundings (and very few birds) and my photography isn't that great. But, I enjoy myself, and I guess that's what matters most. The thing is, I love seeing beautiful work like yours!
