Lush Green

This is a Japanese garden we visited while in Illinois last month. It's a beautiful place, although the photos don't convey the 100+ degree heat index on the day of our visit.

Today's Tip:
A change in perspective can make a big difference in photos. Getting lower or higher than typical eye level can make things more interesting or reveal things we didn't previously see.

Despite the heat those trees and bushes look so green and lush. The copper beech looks magnificent and just adds to the colour palette.

Beautiful! Would you please share where this is in Illinois. Since I live in the central part of the state, it couldn't be too far away. Would love to visit.

Gotta love a shot with water reflection. You've given me the need to go visit my town's Japanese Garden again which probably looks 100% better than this time last year. Hopefully I'll do it on a day that doesn't reach 100!

What a dreamy place this must be. Your photos really show off it's beauty. To bad about the excessive heat.

That is beautiful! Love the waterfall pic especially. But I don't think I would be there with a 100+ heat index. You are a brave soul!
