Overheated II

Much like the hot rabbit I posted recently, this squirrel sprawled out underneath a shade tree in the same yard to avoid the mid-day heat.

HI Brian well this time he is horizontal. The grass must be cool for him.

I had to smile when I saw these shots Brian... I wish my squirrels would stay on the ground.

the lush, green grass looks cool to me (considering ours is brown and crunchy), but he just makes me laugh! cute little varmint! :)

If the grass was a little longer, the squirrel would be hidden. Great captures, Brian!

Forget Dog Day this heat makes us all squirrely.

He's about as laid back as a squirrel is campable of being. In my yard he could get a cool drink out of Chet's bowl. Those eyes still manage to stay on alert, don't they?

Oops! Capable, not "campable".
