So glad I get to follow your blog and see amazing things like the tongue of a Humming Bird. Where else would I enJOY no respect from a Humming Bird?

I saw a video recently of how the hummingbird tongue works to ingest nectar. It was fascinating and nothing like I thought. Beautiful, perfectly focused image, Brian.

Really -- he is sticking out his tongue at you? Amazing catch.

Well, you have to do something with it when its not in a flower!

You should ask Gail Dixon where she saw the video and maybe let us know ... I would love to see it too, now that I have seen "the tongue"! Only a hummingbird could get away with giving you the raspberries ... as always, great capture, Brian!

So well captured with all the details.
Very difficult to get these in the frame as they rarely sit still.
