A beautiful catch and it is so true. I use to say that you can see as deep into a horses eye as into the universe.

The eyes of a horse tells it all.

I love this picture of this beauty it so close up and so clear Brian. I know your a Bird guy and scenry but your also taking this beauty. You should do more.

My niece's daughter has a beautiful horse she rides in shows of her own of course..

I have put up her pix at times and her horse the two of them looking at each other.

The horse and the young daughter
speak multiply stares of love. Especially the horse.

So yes eyes are the window of soul. I must say this is my fav picture of your takes. Maybe because it is a close up. Not sure.

While that's a fine photo, that horse looks sad or resigned to hard work.

Oh, wow. Beautiful reflection and great choice to go with the b&w. I've been wanting to get a macro of my husband's blue eyes...this will inspire me to get that done.

Oh my. What a wonderful capture, Brian.

Stunning, and the one eye is looking very thoughtful, not even a glimmer of happiness as he/she poses for you, so still ,and yes, almost sad. Greetings, Jean.

HI Brian I love the B&W of the close up of the horse. The white crescent in his eye, the white flash on his forehead, the light catching the buckles all add to this great shot.

This is one of my favorites now!!! What a wonderful shot...very soulful.
A friend of mine just recently lost her horse...he was quite old and it was his time, but she is heartbroken...there can definitely be a bond between horses and humans...

Wonderful. Horses are magnificent creatures. I've always been a tad (afraid) of them but I think they are beautiful animals.
