at my house it's, pick a branch, any branch....just be sure there's one branch in front of it. so she can't get a clear picture!!

is that ice on the branches??

Awesome focus on both portraits. The female is a beauty, but the red on that male is gorgeous. I've never seen a male house finch that bright and with that much red.

Oh my I didn't know a finch could have red feathers like that. These are both wonderful shots. The ice on the branches looks so cold.
