what a delightful 'meadow'. We don't see fields of flowers like that, they're either cropped, or grazing animals, or paddocks full of neglected 'weeds'. Beautiful photographs; is it near to your home Brian?
Hey- you've been snapping around my back yard! Just kidding, but I sure do know those horse apples!
Lovely meadow and images. The flowers are pretty. Have a great weekend, Brian!
Pure Beauty here Brian - Pure Beauty!

Lovely photos, Brian! My favorite is the purple asters, white flowers, and the goldenrod.Have a great weekend.
Gorgeous photos. There is so much to see if we only look.
Beautiful images! This must be the time of year for goldenrod; I'm seeing it all over the place! I need to get out and capture a wide angle view of them. My fave image out of these is the purple thistle. It really pops!
Nature and you know what your are doing. Great captures.
They all are so lovely, the purple thistle, down here definitely a weed , is what I think we have as " Scotch Thistle" you have it captured in its own beauty. Cheers from Jean
Beautiful! Love those shrooms.
Very beautiful pictures...what is that on the third picture..
You win the scavenger hunt for finding the most colors in the fall. I like the first one showing the far horizon. Beautiful shots. enJOYed

Oh so very lovely! Last week while the husby and I were working in the yard, something happened, that in 31 years of living on this land had never happened. I got bonged in the head by a Hedgeapple. It brought blood to the surface, but did not split the skin...it hurt too!
Hi there - great set of pictures - I was going to ask what the green ball looking things were - but it seems I've found out!Stewart M - Melbourne
