what a delightful 'meadow'. We don't see fields of flowers like that, they're either cropped, or grazing animals, or paddocks full of neglected 'weeds'. Beautiful photographs; is it near to your home Brian?

the goldenrod and grasses are beautiful. the thistles are so pretty. but that shot of the asters - both purple and white - whew! thanks for the wild bouquet today!

Beautiful images! This must be the time of year for goldenrod; I'm seeing it all over the place! I need to get out and capture a wide angle view of them. My fave image out of these is the purple thistle. It really pops!

Oh so very lovely! Last week while the husby and I were working in the yard, something happened, that in 31 years of living on this land had never happened. I got bonged in the head by a Hedgeapple. It brought blood to the surface, but did not split the skin...it hurt too!
