Nicely framed by the branches.
Great shot - and as a Andy said the branches make the image.Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Darn it. Andy stole exactly what I was going to say. A shot of the moon on its own looks kinda flat. Giving something to give depth and contrast makes for a much more pleasing photo. Really nice image Brian
the wintry skies and you get the wonderful deciduous silhouettes thrown in; perfect shot Brian
Lovely photo, and I say the same as the comments before, lovely framing, sky with a truly winter look. Greetings from Jean
Now that is a super shot! I am hoping for cooperation the end of the month when the full moon rises again to get the shot I missed LAST month! (I know - good luck with that huh?)
Wonderful image, Brian!
a perfect cameo profile between the trees. :)
Ohhh Fantabulous! =)
Love it framed with the silhouette trees!
It's a lovely image Brian..
Brian, lovely moon capture!
Great shot. I can never get my moon shots to stay in focus when I'm taking shots at night.
Beautiful shot!!!I like the silhouette of the trees against the grey sky...and of course, the moon peeking through!!!
I really love this shot Brian, you just keep getting the coolest shots!
What an awesome black and white of the moon and trees...one fabulous capture. How do you do it????? You just get better and better. I would love to be a little bird resting up on one of those wispy branches. genie
Hi Brian! Lovely...we for sure dont see the moon tonight...we have snowstorm coming and warnings got out. You should not go by car today.
Lovely photo Brian, very atmospheric
A great photo!
Wow, I really like this shot! The moon with the branches is captured so beautifully!:)
I agree with the other comments ... the feathery branches silhuetted against the skyline creates a wonderful B&W image.
The scraggy silhouette shapes create an eerie complement to the full glow of the moon! Beautiful in monochrome!
Such a lovely moon photo!
