OK, I see the huge differences in this bird and the one I posted! :-) I am assuming by your title that this is a green heron. I see that same green stripe on the face. He's rather brown, but I've seen them in shadows and they do look greenish. Love these awesome pictures! Thanks for your comment! Wonder what happened to Watery Wednesday II!
