I don't think I've ever seen a girl cardinal and wow, I'm liking her as much or better than the boy. Whoda thought. Love the iridescence on the grackle but frankly, I totally enjoyed all of these shots. It has been so windy here (think 70 mph) that my feeders have been vacant.

They are all beautiful and expertly photographed. Except for the titmouse, I have the same castoff characters in my yard. Adore the sheen and colors on the grackle.

Remarkable photos Brian! I have the same birds in my yard, except for the Titmouse.

You posted this at 5AM ... don't you sleep? Anyway, I am glad you did because these are all beautiful pictures and all are birds we have in our area. Thank you for the Spring refresher ...

What a great batch of birds! Tremendous photos! I love how you captured the iridescence of the grackle's feathers. He looks so handsome.

All such beauties. The tufted titmouse is one I have never seen except in photos. I may have to travel to capture one with my camera. :)

Your pictures are always stunning! I have still been seeing quite a few cardinals around here, which is unusual this late in the spring.

I think it's time you start working on a Brian's wildlife photos coffeetable sized book, Brian! (or, have you already?) Your photos are so clean and true w/o a lot of fiddling--just a pleasure to study.

Great photos of these beautiful birds.
Many of these are not the Netherlands.

You just identified another bird for me. White-throated sparrow! I was wondering what that was. I just took a pic of one, and noticed the yellow around it's eyes. Gorgeous photo's!
