...waiting for some movement at the station?

I hope it doesn't nest there! We have heard a lot of killdeer calls the past week here. There is lots of bare field for them to nest now.

Waiting for a bus? Great Moon shot. I wonder why they like roads so much. I never see them anywhere else.

silly, silly bird - probably nesting right there, living on the edge, in barely a scrape of an indent in the rocks and dirt.

I hope the nest is not too close to the road, they are cute birds! Not too bright, I would think! Have a happy day!

When I saw this picture, I was thinking - Arizona... It is an interesting point of view for sure, and I like it.

What a strange place to take a rest. I love these birds. The sound they make is really cool.

Nice shot.....I hate that they always want to nest next to a road. I assume it's because they want a good line of sight. We always see nests in either really short grass or next to a burnout or trail.
