Beautiful shots Brian! I love the perspective in the first shot, I find I can feel it more than the second one which is also a good shot, but yup, the first one had me instantly. I even got an Autumn chill from the first photo... got to go and find me a housecoat now! lol

Cheers.

I love the first picture with the golden rod and the yellow bushes next to the old barn. Just beautiful!

Isn't it cool how nature begins immediately to turn people creations into something more---natural. Softer edges, more rustic colors. I especially like the low angle on your first photo.

I love the colours in this photo. The golds of the flowers and the grey weathered barn boards work well together. Beautiful photos.

I'm more taken by all the golden rods (our state flower). Have noticed not as many bloomed out this year and are late. Many years ago, picked bushels of them to decorate my outdoor wedding at the end of Sept. So naturally I look for them every year. -Also, wondering if we have taken picture of same barn? Your picture is much better looking.
enJOYed!

Love the shots but is it evil of me to think "gee look at the great barn boards on that thing"? :)

...is the overgrowth the leftovers of a crop, or a weed? Your photographs make it look very picturesque regardless

Love all that fall yellow, it makes a nice contrast to the weathered wood...

Excellent shots! I like to see the contrasting perspectives! Always makes me curious of the history when I see an old, abandoned dwelling.

Beautiful pictures!!! I love the yellow flowers. Any time I can find an overgrown barn, I am happy!!

Sadly there are too many of these abandoned barns in Kentucky. Was this taken in Harrison County? Looks a lot like one I spotted on a trip there back in August. You caught this scene at a great time, Brian with that field of goldenrod. Very evocative rural scene--thoughts go in a lot of directions.

Thats a nice looking building and the meadow in front looks good for insects - if not good for grazing!

Great shots, Brian! I really love that first one with the goldenrods (I think that's what they are) and other grasses in the forefront. Beautiful!

What a great barn! Just the way I love to find them - old, derelict and a little over grown. The whole scene is perfect!
