Great shots Brian- he looks so funny sitting up in that tree. That last shot is fantastic!

Hi there - this may sound crazy, but I like the lack of bird in this bird shot! We dont always have to have the screen filled for it to be a great shot.

The goldfinch in the earlier post is great.

Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW - Stewart M - Melbourne

These are wonderful...very neat when we can view the GBH up high...it makes them seem much smaller and then...they fly~

He wasn't high enough to elude you of that perfect shot.

The heron in flight is the icing on the cake. But they are all beautiful.

I don't remember the last time I saw a heron sitting in a tree. Maybe I don't look up enough. Great job on that last pic!!

Nice perspective of just how high up he was, and awesome flight shot.

As my kids would say "Look there is a dinosaur in the tree!"

Amazing heron shots! I saw one near a pond, I tried to get a photo, but it flew to the other side of the pond, and into the trees. I guess I'm too slow.
