Quote Worthy

Everyone has favorite quotes and sayings that they like. These are just a few of the lines that I've taken a shine to - some are quite old and others more recent. I could list pages and pages of various quotes I enjoy, but these are some that come immediately to mind. We've all seen certain quotes attributed to more than one person. I've given the proper credit to the best of my knowledge.

I love some of these quotes, what the heck was your friend thinking when he said he's not in his prime anymore? The 40's is where all the fun just begins! ;-)

One of my favorites is one I don't have a clue where I heard it or who said it is:

"You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it."

You gotta love Deer Passion...you never know what's gonna come out of her mouth! Your daughter isn't far behind her ;) I would have died laughing hearing her story about getting that goose egg on her forehead, hahah.

We had a dear friend pass away suddenly at the age of 47 a few years ago. He had one saying that he wrote EVERYWHERE and I even had to hand-paint it on his cars and bike. After he died and before his funeral, I ran around painting all our cars and bikes with..."Women may come and go, but legends are forever - B Hayden"

Thanks for the additional quotes! I like your husband's version of that famous quote, T! Better than the original.

DeerPassion's quote is pretty good! It made me laugh! I like Mr. Hayden's, too! It's cool he is remembered that way.
