I don't know that I have ever seen this bird...but she is very pretty! I love the reflection in the water - so perfect!
how perfect! it's like she's sitting on a mirror!
Great picture - not every image we take needs to look like a guidebook shot. I really like the colour of this picture.Stewart M - Australia
beautiful shot Brian....would love to be there right now...
Looks like a painting! Beautiful.
What a cool looking bird. I love the way the water turned out in this shot...you got just the right things in sharp focus to make a great picture.
This almost looks like a painting- great shot Brian!
Really great shot, Brian. It does almost look like a painting. I have never heard of a Moorhen. Fun to see what they look like.
this opened and my jaw dropped. the light, the colors, the crisp reflections. holy cow! absolutely brilliant!
I don't know what a moorhen is but this is a very pretty shot. Enjoy the day. Pamela
That is an amazing reflection! And very cool bird. Great shot.
This one sent me to Google to discover the difference between a moorehen and a coot. Didn't even know there were two different birds. According to the source the hen has a red beak, coot white. I've learned something today. Now I can take the rest of the day off. Thanks.
The reflection is pure perfection, Brian. Nicely done.
A wonderful image Brian..
What a treat this is to the eye. Very serene. - I've never seen this type of bird before so it's always interesting to see the birds you've captured. Love the reflection of the bird in the water as well.
A strikingly beautiful scene. The bird is an added bonus :)
What a stunning image, there is so much to see in this picture!!!
The colors are amazing, as are the reflections. I've never heard and/or seen a Moorhen, but I'm impressed. Oh, and the composition. WOW!
Beautiful picture and reflection.
Great shot Brian, lovely light etc.. :-)
What a magical setting she lives in!
She's hiding (and well she should)... in the Everglades we learned that this beautiful bird is pretty much the bottom of the food chain...made me sad, but all part of life I guess.
