What a gorgeous bird! I had to look at your tag to see what kind of bird it was - although the wings should have given me a clue! I am hopelessly inept at identifying birds. Thanks for linking up this week - you always provide great shots!
what an interesting looking bird. that color. wow!! (:
So how do you get so many close ups of birds? Do you have a blind you hide in? The second I'm anywhere near a bird, it flies away and I end up with an unfocused picture of a tree or the sky. This is yet another amazing post!
Wow very cool bird.
You manage to get the most amazing shots! Love these!
Brilliant portraits, great work.
It is such a joy viewing your incredible photos. Brightens my day!
Such a beautiful blue.
Great background contrast to the blue in the bird. Love both shots.
such a cutie! captured his personality and beauty very well! :)
Wow, wonderful shots, that first one especially.
What a divine little bird. The color is so pretty. Great shots.
Gorgeous color on that swallow. He is posing perfectly for you! I saw my first swallow in Portland, OR last year and fell in love with them.
Dead on! Nice color and set up. These are such beautiful birds.
Nice colors! So blue. Those little guys are so quick and hard to catch with a camera.
Beautiful Swallow portraits!
A Project Runway bird--such a dazzling color and your shot shows off that amazing plumage to best effect. So excited because Chet the pup and I found what I think may be a hawk feather--4-5 in. long cream/brown--on our walk in the park. Will have to do some detective work on google.
Two great shots Brian- love that blue color!
The blue bird is so great. Did you know I think your are a phenomenal photographer. I love you blog. I love it when you say nice things about mine.
Love the colors on those birds!
WoW brian, it's just a beautiful bird and 2 gorgeous photographs!!
WOW! Brian, this little swallow is gorgeous. He's so similar to our Welcome Swallow, but white and blue instead of brown & blue. The blue is stunning isn't it??!!
I love them!! They are great birds to have around. Beautiful shots!
What a pretty bird! I love how the white stands out next to his blue wings.
Just stunning! Love this beautiful bird and your photos of it.OK, I have a problem. Whenever I click on someone's comment and get the "Circles" page, I generally cannot make a comment because it will tell me that the person I clicked on has not left me a message, so I can't leave them one. I just clicked on your comment on one of my posts, and got a Circles page, but couldn't figure out how to leave a comment on your wonderful photo of the great blue heron there. You had also posted photos by others. I just don't understand the whole Circles set-up. I was not able to use the connection I used to have for you on my sidebar because it still goes to Hey BJK which no longer exists, and I plan to change it to Brian King Images which is where I am now.....I just don't "get" Circles.
We had those at our old house and I loved them. Great photo.
