Great shot!!!.. Pretty picture of heron.. Congrat.
Hi Brian, i've just come across your great blog, love the Heron shot. I am now following and will spend some time having a closer look. Regards Garyhttp://walksnwildlife.blogspot.co.uk/
made me smile; that's so funny but also a fantastic shot!
I swear, either you have a magic potion that makes clips bird wings or you have one of those massive lenses. How do you get such amazing close ups. I'll post my most impressive Blue Heron shot tomorrow. You will see the root of my jealousy. lol
It's Alfalfa the heron! Great shot.
Too funny- he's a beaut!
Each year towards fall, I examine one of the plastic herons at Mill’s Fleet Farm. These are confidence decoys for ducks that sell for $19. I never buy one though. I am thinking about making one. Anyone know how long the herons hang around the Upper Midwest in the fall before disappearing?
Perfect title of a fantastic shot!

Ha, I like your title. Awesome shot of the GB Heron, Brian!
technically is that a hair? a feather?
And otherwise so neatly coiffed (plumed?). Beautiful capture.

We all have bad hair days. Mr GBH is a stunner. Great shot, Brian!
AWESOME Brian... how do you get soooo close, love this handsome photograph~
I'm not sure I would call it a "Bad Hair Day" as it is only one hair (feather), but it is certainly noteworthy. The picture, as always is superb. Hope to be back next week with a bird you and I have talked abour:)Andrea @ From the Sol
