Beautiful, I like so much the branches contrasting with the sky.Lovely little birds. Cheers, Jean
Peaceful little moment in nature--Like the simplicity of this shot--silvery branches against that blue sky--and the way some of the branches are in soft focus. Perfect contrast for the little sunbather.
The depth of field in your photos is always excellent - I love that last shot with the sun on the head! Just gorgeous! That would make a beautiful postcard...
Very nice pictures - will all your swallows head south soon?Did you click on the Frogmouth pictures - you can see them larger if you do.Cheers - Stewart MPS: thanks for the link/ participation in WBW
Nice catch! These guys never seem to sit still for long.
beautiful, soft little ones. i see several folks mention sky above, but is that pretty blue backdrop water?
So pretty...postcard worthy!
gorgeous, good thing for no leaves!!
So cute. They look so contented sitting on the bare branches. I'm assuming that's water behind them. When I first saw these in Portland they were nesting near a pond.
They look content...but I know they must be on the watch for danger.
The second one is such a cute little pose!Lovely shots Brian - the soft soothing blue background is really nice.
Such a sweet little bird. Your shots are lovely. They have such a peaceful feel about them.
Some more great portraits. You should take this up for a job!
I love all kinds of swallows. Beautiful pics!
Hi Brian! Great pictures of the swallos...your post before too. You are good to capture them...very nice
So the owl isn't the only bird that can seem to twist his neck all the way to the back to catch your eye? Cool capture.
Great shots. I ran into your friend the heron today. I'll post pictures soon.
Nice shots- I like the second one best!
Seems like a universal world trend....Barn Swallows are here:) The babies are learning to eat and it's lots of fun to watch:)
The swallows are beautiful, and I love the composition of these pictures too :)
such a sweet little bird...
Beautiful captures of this Swallow!
This lovely little bird looks so soft...like you could reach into the photo and stroke his feathers. Beautiful photos!
