Kentucky Barns...It's All About Location

This rather nondescript, whitish and green barn is well maintained, but isn't what I would call fancy or unique. As they say in the real estate business, however, it's all about location, location, location.

This barn happens to be in a great location with a fantastic view.

PS: it could just be me, but sometimes I find it hard to get back to your blog from you google+ page - any suggestions? SM

That is a big barn, doesn't look so big from the water. Great shots, water looks so peaceful and calm.

Ah...the 2nd pic helps me see where it's situated. Nice location, indeed! The sky is amazing. You've been rocking the sky shots lately. :)

What's the realtor's slogan? Location, location, location! This ordinary working barn certainly has that. Love that there's no other houses or buildings to spoil the view. And those reflections are just magical.

Got that right. Waterfront property adds tons to the value, even to a barn.

Stunning view, I'd say! I like the way the roof is raised down the center.

I think there is nothing more beautiful than a barn.... don't know why! Here in Michigan, we have beautiful barns dotted all over the countryside, and all are beautiful to me.... even the run-down ones... I like to think of all the years of farmers and animals that barns represent.... lovely photo

It's a beautiful view for sure!

Very nice, Brian, very nice! Is there a house nearby enjoying the view, too?

Thanks for joining =)

Fantastic view, for sure! I'd love to have a house where the barn is standing. But maybe there was one nearby. Beautiful green grass...we're starving for green grass here!

Brian....What a gorgeous setting for a barn. I have never seen one in a spot like this. Plus you had a gorgeous day for shooting. The barn looks to be in fine condition with that lovely green roof. Our farmhouse is green as is our barn and outbuildings. But our barn sure does not sit in a spot like this. Great contribution to Barn Charm this week. genie
