Cloud Mountains

These evening cloud formations were quite impressive in their height and ever changing shape. They came through ahead of a large storm front.

Perfect description. I love looking at clouds. As a kid I spent a lot of time looking for shapes. I grew up on a farm. Not much excitement there. lol

Jealous of your big, blue, beautiful clouds. We haven't had much precip here for weeks. The smoke from fires has turned the air almost toxic.

In your second photo the clouds look like they're outlining a blue mountain formation. Very unusual. Yesterday was the first day in a long time that I noticed these big white "dumpling" clouds. Made me think of fall. Need the start scanning the sky for some evening pink clouds like the ones you shot.

These are stunning. My favorite is the 3rd one down. I love clouds like these, they are like snowflakes, no 2 formations are alike.
